Safe Travel with Bowens Holidays

We know the last few months have been difficult for so many people for many different reasons, in particular not being able to see our loved ones. It is astonishing to think how our everyday lives have been impacted over the last few months and seeing the changes that are now becoming our new normal. We have hope for the future, and following the Government’s recent announcement, I’m pleased to confirm that we are looking forward to getting our coaches back on the road and welcoming you from Saturday
4th July 2020, in-line with the Government’s guidelines.

We continue to review the Government guidelines and are working closely with all the hotel managers across our portfolio, to implement the relevant measures to ensure our guests’ safety while on holiday with us. While our commitment to our core company values remains the same, you will notice some changes to the Bowens experience we know you are familiar with and enjoy. While we have been closed to the public, we have been using this time to carefully plan these new measures and we want you to be aware of the planned safety guidelines that will be in place from when we reopen.

All Bowens Holidays Passengers will be contacted 24hrs prior to holiday departure to confirm they have no Covid19 symptoms.

Home Pick Up

Bowens Holidays has made the difficult decision to suspend all home collections.
If you have paid for home collection and not paid the full balance, we will remove the price from the booking for you.

For those who would still like a home collection,
Bowens Holidays will happily call taxi’s to collect you from your home and take you to the meeting point with a return journey but you will have to pay the different in price as you will have your own taxi.

If you would like to change your home collection to one of our free pick up point, you MUST let us know as soon as possible.

Coach Travel

Due to the required social distancing measures, the capacity of our coaches will be reduced by half, with guests using every alternate row of seats.

Your allocated seat will remain yours exclusively for the full length of your holiday.

The double seat immediately behind the driver will not be used and toilets and drinking facilities will not be in use until further notice.

Before departing your tour, driver will make an announcement outlining all of our safety measures and procedures.

All Bowens Holidays tour drivers will always wear protective face masks and sanitised gloves.

We kindly ask all guest to wear some type of face shield while on the coach this can be a scarf, mask, or full-face shield to protect yourself along with gloves and will ask everyone to use the hand sanitiser provided every time they board and disembark the coach. An enhanced cleaning program will also be in place to ensure the safety of both our passengers and the driver.

The health and wellbeing of our guests and staff is always at the forefront of everything we do. We believe that we can fully comply with the required social distancing measures, while still delivering our fantastic holidays that so many people enjoy year on year. We will constantly review and adapt the measures that we have in place, as the Government legislation and recommendations evolve

We cannot wait to see you very soon, in the meantime keep safe!

Hi just wanted to check that there is any availability for the 19th Sept one night to Blackpool (it keeps crashing) for a twin room?

All the best,

John Ward

I find the need to wear gloves unnecessary as use of hand sanitizer should be sufficient. Train and bus passengers are not required to wear gloves. Journeys to the north of Scotland take around 7 hours and would make wearing gloves very uncomfortable especially on a hot day. Also, please give guidance regarding hotel arrangements during the pandemic. Thank you
